Hi Happy Campers!
It is spring time and time to update things! I took this thought to a new level and bought a brand new VW Bug! It has been 12 years since I have had a brand new car. So much fun! Did you know that this is my 4th VW Bug?
It's a Bug Life
In 2006 I bought my first VW Bug brand new. My then 10 year old daughter Emily was SO excited! (She is now 22 yrs old). She pronounced the day I brought it home that it was going to be her car. She used to polish it to keep it shiny red. We named it Doodle Bug.
When favorite daughter, Miss Emily turned 16, I bought a newer used yellow VW Beetle. Her name was Daisy Doodle Bug. My daughter renamed the first Red bug, Todd :-D The neighbors teased us a bit with our ketchup and mustard cars.
In 2015 I bought a newer used red VW Bug. It was a turbo, manual transmission with black racing stripes - SO fun to buzz around town! I named him Doug the Doodle Bug :) (My cars do not actually have my logo on them, I add that for social media).
Even though I have upgraded VW Bugs every three years, I am planing on keeping Betty for a very long time. My daughter and I belly laughed when she came up with the name Betty White! SO, if you live in Omaha, look for a white bug and be sure to wave hi!
New Business Cards
My favorite son Jack, is a graphic designer for Appsky. (The apples do not fall far from the tree). When he offered to re-design my business cards, I jumped on that! Always good to have a fresh eye look at things. There are two versions of business cards, one for art licensing and one for pet portraits. They all have the bumble bee design on the other side. I just had to show them off!
