Tips for painting a white cat on a dark background. Sneak up on your values & piece the painting together like a puzzle. Use your reference photo as a traceable. At 10:12 I show & chat about my first rough pass at the cat. At 12:17 I show and talk about the eyes. At 15:11 I chat about the texture of the panel and the dark blue 'poppping' through what I paint on top. Takes several layers for good coverage. At 17:20 I offer a couple whisker tips.
